1 month

We can't believe our sweet baby Malia Lani is 1 month old. Where does time go. We can't get enough of her, and can't believe how big she already is! She had her one month check today at the Doc. here are her measurements...

Weight: 9lbs. 11.6oz

Length: 21 3/4 inches

2 Weeks Old Today!

Malia is such a sweet baby and we are so lucky to have her in our home. 

She is a great sleeper, she only wakes up twice a night but still has her days and nights mixed up a bit, so sometimes does not want to go back to bed!

 Everyday she is looking more and more like her daddy.

Loves to be held and cuddled!

She slept her first night in her crib in her own room last night and did AWEOME!

 We just love our little princess and can't get enough of her. Malia we love you so much and are so lucky to have such a sweet baby girl!

Malia Lani Gubler

Our little Princess has finally come! She was born Saturday Oct. 10, 2009 at 10:03 am. She was 8lbs. 3oz. and 20 inches long. I am so proud of Robyn and all that she had to go through to get Malia here. I can't believe how much I love this little girl! She already has me wrapped around her little finger. I just hope she always asks her mom for stuff, because I don't know how I will ever be able to tell her no.

The labor went well and both baby and mother are doing well. We are both so excited to have her here and to have a little family.

It is quite funny because ever since I knew that Iowa was playing Michigan on Oct. 10 I had been telling Robyn that she could not have the baby on that day! Any day but the Michigan game day! So, I got just what I was asking for, she went into labor early saturday morning the day of the big game! My dad and I already had our tickets to the game and it looked as though we weren't going to make it. Well little Malia is a HAWKEYE fan too and so she came plenty early so that she could watch the game. Dad and I made the short walk across the street from the Hospital to Kinnick Stadium while Robyn, Malia, and my mom stayed to watch the game on T.V. The Hawkeyes pulled out the victory after an awesome game. Needless to say it was an AMAZING day!!

39 Weeks!

Still no baby :(

She knows the weather here in Iowa is getting cold and wants to sty nice and warm inside me.

I have been CLEANING like Crazy!!!

I still have contractions all the time.

I walk/jog 4 miles 3-4 times a week.

Dilated 2cm as of September 25th, but my doc didn't check me last week.

My Doctor is out of town till Friday night... I have mixed feeling about it. I want my baby here but kinda want to wait till my doc is back in town... I go in on Monday

Grandma and Grandpa Gubler are coming to visit tomorrow night!

Hopefully we will have our sweet little Malia Lani here in the next couple days! We can't wait to meet her, and I can't wait to see who she likes like!

Keep your fingers crossed that I don't go over due... ugh...

Here is a picture of my belly at 39 weeks. I was not thrilled about posting it but my family back home all wants to see it, so here it is!

36 weeks!

*I'm done working!

*I have started to dilate!

*I still have contractions everyday, and actually thought I was going to have this little girl the other night.

*I am so so tired and just want to sleep, but sleeping is still very difficult.

*I have not started to swell to much, sometimes my feet and fingers swell but usually when it is really hot or when I'm active.

*I have 4 more weeks, if I can keep her in that long.....

*My sciatic nerve is killing me

*I really can't complain, my pregnancy has not been all that bad!

*I can't wait to hold and love on my little girl, and I can't wait to see what she looks like!
